Join us for our Lake Travis/Spicewood Workday! We'll be doing yard clean up, minor repairs, and other projects to help our Partner Families feel safe in their homes.
What to bring: drinking water, work gloves, closed-toe shoes, mosquito/bug repellant, sunscreen, a hat, and a great attitude! Things can and will change during the workday.
Due to the nature of the work, we do require that you wear work gloves and closed-toe shoes. Long pants are also suggested. Please remember - you and your clothes will get dirty!
Tools to bring: we will have tools available to use, but you can also bring your own weed eaters, trimmers, or other yard tools. For questions you can contact Carissa at carissa@pihtx.org
As you step out of your car, you'll be stepping into an ongoing relationship between Partners in Hope and the family you are serving. You will also have opportunities to reconnect over the next several months with the family you serve.
Your talents, passions, and skills are not only valuable, but necessary to the success of moving people out of isolation and into life-giving community. We look forward to putting your gifts to excellent use as we empower neighbors to create meaningful connections.
